I generally don't post updates about my husband's health on Twitter, but I'm asking a favor today.
For those of you who aren't aware, my husband was diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia) at the beginning of the year. 1/

Darius' oncology team originally thought he could be treated with chemotherapy alone. It turns out, that's not going to happen. So, he needs a stem cell transplant, but no one in his family is a match for donation.

Donating stem cells is not painful. It's very similar to donating blood. It takes a few hours, you don't have to travel to do it, and you could save someone's life.

Not really. The whole idea of getting tested to see if you are a match is that your match status will live in their facility unless or until it is needed, so you might not be a match for my husband, but you could be a match for someone else! https://twitter.com/Pstthomas/status/1380694963856539652?s=20
