For history buffs among us, Directors of #publichealth were around 100 years BEFORE the NHS was created. We started in local government in 1848. Local government is in our DNA. Fabulous to have this recognition from our Secretary of State https://academic.oup.com/jpubhealth/article/36/4/546/1532200
