I submitted to background checks. I have a carry permit. And, I have no issue with either. I have faced issues where I have been somewhat concerned for my safety, & that of my family, without pulling my firearm or revealing I had one. Other methods of de-escalation were adequate.

My son purchased a firearm from a family friend. He has no issue with a pending background check prior to transfer of ownership being granted, either. Why? Because he has never been arrested or charged with a crime & suffers no mental health issues.

Bigger than any of this, though? Firearms laws, the second amendment, a sensible gun reform legislation should NOT be a political, partisan issue! It is a public safety issue!!! Look how many mass shootings the past month .5!!! But, it gets republican votes?

This should tell everyone all that needs be understood. The GOP do not care about your voting rights. They really don't care about the truth of anything. And life means nothing to them. It's money, donations, votes, power, greed....wrinkly, white powerful men & bent women.

They will deny when your kids are shot in school. Hell, MTG stalked a teenage kid, claiming false flags after his school was shot up; then claimed her kids would be killed by gun laws being changed/made reasonable. So, her kids matter but nobody else's? Vote logically.
