Can you help Sunrise LA make calls to ensure that SB 467 passes the Senate Natural Resources Committee next Tuesday? (thread)

SB 467 requires CA to establish a minimum buffer zone between oil & gas activities and communities, bans dangerous extraction methods, and provides for a just transition for fossil fuel workers

There is currently NO regulation keeping oil & gas away from our neighborhoods, particularly low-income communities of color. These wells poison our air & water – yet another example of environmental racism that runs rampant across California.

Four (4) Democratic Senators on the Natural Resources Committee stand between frontline communities receiving justice and the passage of this bill. We need as many people as possible to call these senators before Tuesday!
