đź’  Some tips for playing Trials of Osiris on Dead Cliffs - a thread: đź’
1) This map is almost always going to rely on whatever setups occur around the middle yellow connector area that bridge A and B. Set yourself up smartly and patiently. Cover is scarce, and one wrong peek at the wrong time can mean the difference between a win or a loss.
2) A and B both have thin pillars opposite each other that offer a modicum of protection, but are more likely to be magnets for ability spam. These spots are important to break a stalemate at connector, but try and avoid spending too much time on either one.
3) Get out of Trucks spawn as fast as possible. Do not, under any circumstance, dither in the A point. You can be very easily pinched and cut off by aggressive teams. Either set up for B quickly, or move to C immediately
4) Bring a sniper or two for this map. Breaking the deadlock quickly is important so you can rush aggressively with your greater numbers. Task your sniper to play patiently and work the angles smartly to get a pick.
5) When you get that pick, don't hesitate to push. Unless the orb is in the back of the broken B building, pretty much every spot on this map is defenseless against a co-ordinated, aggressive team.
6) If you insist on bringing 3 shotguns, bring 3 120s as well. High damage, even bodyshots, will neutralise teams' ability to rotate or push out.
7) A good counter for aggressive teams are slug shotguns, though this will require you to bait people into position, which is hard to do against co-ordinated teams.
8) A Messenger with Desperado, or any rapid-fire weapon like Suros Regime or The Summoner, can be a fantastic distraction tool to cover your teammates. Since Dead Cliffs is about high burst damage in a short window, flinching folks might be a good strategy to allow for rotations.
9) Pipes is an underrated sniper spot on this map. You may not be able to snipe through them all the time, but you will certainly be able to see what's happening in connector with relative safety. It's also close to two excellent rotation options in lower C and catwalk.
10) Speaking of seeing through things - Top Tree Dawnblade enables some crazy angles on this map. Like this one, from C-side catwalk to pipes.
11) Flanking through lower C from A-side is an underrated option. You can quickly pop out with a sniper and make it 3v2. Be wary of your speed and timing, smarter teams know about this and will instantly shoot you if they get wind of your approach on the radar.
12) Callouts and comms > all. Get learned with @r3likt and his incredibly detailed maps. This one's for Dead Cliffs.
Play hard, play fair, play fast but also watch your toes. Dead Cliffs comes down to tight positioning and patience. Aggression wins games usually, but this is one of the few maps where passive synergy will actually top that.

Good luck!
