when guys talk sometimes about how much it sucks to be unfairly assumed to be a dangerous predator, I feel sympathetic to that now in a way I did not before my transition, ironically
before I was like "well, of course women have every reason to be cautious. I am a stranger to them and they have no reason to trust me."
now when there are these bills that propose to keep women like me out of women's restrooms for "safety", I feel deeply insulted.

we've all heard the usual "I'm just there to pee" and that's true: trans women aren't any more dangerous than anyone else, this shit is all just bigotry and tribal signalling, we all know that.
something I see less often explicitly discussed is that transmisogyny is also sometimes, in a convoluted way, misandry: when we are presumed to be predators because we are presumed to be *men*.
and that's deeply unfair too, for what it's worth.
