I used to reason my suffering as God preparing me for a greater purpose-in the process I lost sight of the human greed behind my struggles and at times, my own actions. That’s the thing about spiritualising stuff, u make mystical the normal....

and it sux that we’re not pawns in some cosmic battle but are, at times, suffering the just rewards of our actions or others..that our suffering isn’t exceptional but pointless & unnecessary.

It’s the same reason why we want extra ordinary interventions for our problems, coz we believe them to@be supernatural. Why we eat grass & get farted on...the humiliation is a better pill to swallow than the anonymity of the alternative.

it’s painful to admit that we were discarded from work coz someone deemed us insignificant, that he/she wasn’t bewitched (idliso) they just didn’t love us anymore...accepting this hurts n is humiliating so we seek solace in the supernatural.
