More time should be spent thinking about antisemitism - not less. It's a rosetta stone for wrong political views, as it's a crystalization of the problems with conspiracy theories, nationalism, critiques of finance capital, anti-imperialism, fickleness in seeing oppression, etc
i reevaluated so many of my views on these and other matters after i studied antisemitism for years. and it really helps people get a clear and consistent libertarian socialism, as you start to eject a lot of the shitty thinking that exists on the left.
it's not the only way to do that, but it is a rather direct and effective one.
and i am endlessly fascinated w how the Left chooses to ignore it even when confronted directly. this shows how even our own views can be - without our noticing it - subverted by toxic ideas & which we double-down in denial on.
note: this way in which i'm talking about antisemitism doesn't have anything to do with IRL Jews per se (altho obvs they will be the victims of it). it's the narrative structure, influence, and hold on our minds that antisemitism has that is revealing, when looked at this way.
anyway, since i'm preparing an anthology of my writings on antisemitism (on both the left and right) for a French translation, if you are an english-language book publisher and might be interested in this, reach out
