If you think these statues are Saree clad Indian woman from 12th Century, then you are WRONG !

These statues & #39;godess?& #39; are at least 2000 years old and were found in Syrian area presently in Palmyra and Iraqi Musuem (survived IS attack).

6/n Vesta Virgins priestesses of hearth, Rome. They were supposed to not bear child or social responsibilities for 30 years. Their usual dress was fully draped from head to tow.
