The main reason why people can't seem to fully digest how Stray Kids does their way of things like their music and performances is because they are used to "what KPOP should sound like" and Stray Kids always does the opposite or doesn't follow the trend, they make their own trend
Stray Kids have made their own way to the industry by making music to showcase their creativity, to deliver a message. Stray Kids have such a diverse discography which tackles topics such as finding oneself, getting on track with your goals, real life situations and emotions+
They don't focus on one context. Their music connects into a deeper sense to the listener, making a connection, an extension of oneself through music and that is how music is supposed to make you feel like.
Stray Kids also takes careful thought about their performances, doing brainstorming of ideas while doing immense research. Every detail has a meaning and one performance tells one story. It's amazing how they always stir our minds to understand the message behind the performance.
Stray Kids is breaking into the Kpop industry by making their own name and stepped up the whole Kpop game which is why they've been called as 4th gen leaders and are even expected to change the paradigm of Kpop.
Truthfully speaking, Stray Kids have already changed the paradigm of Kpop slowly but surely. People are just not aware of how deep their discography and performances have always been because the only way to understand skz is through their music.
To conclude this essay, Stray Kids is the genre.
