don’t forget eren was the only one sober so clearly he did not mind mikasa being this close and physical w him.
she is the centerpiece of his memories ...

also, if eren didn’t love mikasa, he would’ve answered zeke’s question with “i don’t feel that way for her, so there’s nothing to answer.” but he didn’t. instead he just said he has 4 years left—implying he would give her an answer if that wasn’t the case.
and in chapter 138, we see what eren truly desires—to spend the rest of those four years by mikasa’s side.
TL;DR: if you think eren’s feelings for mikasa came out of nowhere or that eremika makes no sense, you read the manga with your unwashed stinky ass.
