Ronaldo’s goals were only needed in 2 games. Also had an assist in the 2-2 draw

Ronaldo also had 2 assists in the first game but take away all 6 goal contributions and his team still goes through 3-2

If not for Ramos’ clutch header in the 92nd minute there would’ve been no 17th goal. He scored his it after the team went 3-1 up and clearly his goal was not needed.

To conclude, 17 goals in one UCL campaign is ridiculous but only 4 of 17 were actually needed to help his team win/draw and they’d still have a chance to win it
