When you become a twitch affiliate you sign a timed exclusivity deal with twitch for your content. You are not allowed to simultaneously stream to another platform and your content remains exclusive for 24 hours from the moment the stream ends.
Prepare the clips after the stream if that's your workflow, but don't post them anywhere until a day after that.
Clarification: this applies to posting any content originally streamed on twitch anywhere else within the first 24 hours. If you download a clip and reupload it somewhere else, any social media platform, youtube, etc, you are breaking your affiliate agreement.
They don't seem to be in a habit of using this to terminate profiles but it's better to be safe than sorry. And I can absolutely see them considering this for partner applications because they do check your social media in the process.
YES you can post LINKS to clips that are hosted on twitch.
This is about posting the content itself (e.g. by downloading it off twitch and reuploading it elsewhere), not links to content.
