After My Graduation in 2018 I decided to join a Private Polytechnic college in eastern UP as a 'Lecturer' on a salary of 11k. I thought with a teacher's job I can get spare time to study and sit in competitive exams. I was wrong about both the job and time management. 1/n

First about the job. It was really weird experience to see students come and touch my feet every morning. Then I was supposed to teach in Hindi because everybody over there was from UP board so I had to refer two three books to familiarize myself with the lingo. 2/n

worst thing was cheating. Whenever there was exam. We teachers were supposed to go to the exam Centre and sign with a fake name(basically original invigilators name). And there invigilators would come to our college and sign in our name and help there students cheat here3/n

The moment question papers will be unsealed the subject teacher will get a copy and he is supposed to start making chits. Within 15 minutes us invigilators will start receiving copies of the chit. And now we are supposed to copy all the answers on blackboard.

Oh yes and there was also regular inspection from Joint Director of Education office. But all was taken care off, thanks to cash. 5/n

I was also supposed to be marketer and a salesperson. Every teacher had to make sure that they bring at least 10 new admissions. Some of us were given responsibility to go to local schools in near by villages and promote the college. 6/n

And we were extortionists too. we were allotted some students and we became their 'Teacher Guardian'. We were supposed to make sure that every student under us has payed fee timely. If we fail to do then there might be deduction from that meagre 11k salary. 7/n

The delay in fee was mostly because of UP govt. delay in releasing scholarship. But that did not matter. And these were mostly lower caste poor people who had thought they can work in a company like TATA or Birla, Obviously thanks to fake "placement reports". 8/n

And this college was run by son of a very corrupt former IG of Police. This is just one college. They have chain of college and they run all kinds of courses and situation is same.

In odd semester I skipped that cheating scene telling that I am inexperienced. But in second semester my manager became adamant and I was left with no option but to abscond without any relieving letter.

And this college was owned by a Bhoomihar run by a lala and people used to spit castiest and communal bile. Once a Thakur teacher told a muslim teacher 'ki Musalmanon ne sirf gaddari ki hai' in front of everyone 11/n

This Thakur guy was communications teacher and his book suggestions were 'why I killed Gandhi'.

Just Imagine you running your disguting dhandha by exploiting poor landless farmers and artisans from lower castes and then filling their heads with such shit.
