What a fantastic end to the 1st LeadTribe cohort by @BlumeVentures with our last session - WarTime CEOs & FireFighting with @AshishFafadia and @jiteshluthra

Sharing some key takeaways

A Thread🧵
1/In a whirlwind of a year that 2020 was, 2021 is not going to be easy as well. Startups are on a 2-year ordeal.

Though there has been a surge of unicorns, for each unicorn there are at least 30 stories about fights on the ground!
2/While the Fail fast mantra is true, in India, the founder ecosystem gets defined by the Resilience of founders.
3/What stands out in wartime is the Culture built by founders and how they handled cash
4/Co-Founders should " Run Blind" with each other.

Just like in cricket when the batsman on strike calls for a run, the batsman on the other end takes a leap of faith. Similarly, founders should be able to trust each other's judgment and go for that run!
5/ Founders can have their arguments in the dressing room, but never on the pitch
6/Founder goal should always be to have the customer as the bigger source of money than the investor
7/ Wartime or peacetime, Happy employees will create happy customers who will eventually make happy investors. It's never the other way around!
8/Startups are a marathon and a sprint - all put together!

Building culture, teams, values should be done as a marathon.

Building funnels, sales pipelines, course correction must be sprints on the startup journey
And this brings all of us to the end of a wonderful 1st cohort of LeadTribe that was built with much love and passion by @radhika_agar and the entire @BlumeVentures team!

Thank you for this fabulous journey and for giving us our Tribe!
