The Tenderloin, one of the hardest hit neighborhoods in the city, still does not have a regular drop-in low barrier vaccine site for residents.

There's plenty of potential locations, volunteers, people ready to do outreach, & support. @SF_DPH we just need the vaccines.
There is now a site operated by UCSF/Glide one day a week, they did 200 this week and 115 last week. But people at that site are "pre-registered." We do not have a site where we can widely advertise for drop ins, which exist in other neighborhoods (including now Treasure Island).
Tenderloin residents can drop in at sites 30 minutes away.

We **know** there is huge need here.

And the Glide site is way under in meeting the demand--they ran out of vaccines yesterday, even just with pre-registered people.
So far the answer we've received has been, first, "we don't have enough vaccines, then "we are already vaccinating people at clinics where people are patients," then "we have the Glide site." None of these excuses are at all acceptable at this point.
