This morning my husband was pulled over by the
@LMPD. The officers told my husband he had a warrant in Florida, a state we have never lived in. The officers tried to force my husband out of the car to arrest him. They drew their guns and threatened to shoot him. (1/3)

My husband told the officers who I was & requested a supervisor. The supervisor arrived 45 minutes later & said, "you don& #39;t look like the guy we& #39;re looking for, you can go". If my husband did not know his rights & had gotten out of his car, he would likely be dead (2/3)
This is the reality of life for men of color in the U.S. & it is sickening. @louisvillekygov and @louisvillemayor. I want you to explain why your officers continue to target and threaten men of color in violation of their human & civil rights. @HumanRightsKY @WDRBNews @wave3news
