My employer is being truly incredible to employees during this pandemic and I thought I would share some ways how:

1. We were told on Day One that no one would be penalized for having to care for a child or a loved one
2. We are encouraged to take breaks and work flexible hours.
3. At Xmas, they shut the office down for an extra week.
4. We have days where we don't book any meetings, so people can get focused work done.
5. We have organizational "slowdown" days where people are encouraged to take a day off and the work does not pile up.
6. In the summer, we work 4-day weeks and have Fri off.
7. They encourage us to use a sick day for a mental health day if we need it.
8. Our employer trusts us and this earns our loyalty.
9. A new antiracism + equity committee is doing a deep dive into our policies and practices
10. Kids and pets are always welcome on Zoom calls.

When I first got the job at @FCM_online, I was told it was a good place to work. Since @carolesaab was appointed CEO, it has only gotten better. When women lead, they make space for all of us.
