I don’t want to get into it b/c it’s been a long week & I don’t want to fight w/ppl, but there’s a thread being shared abt Western fans & colonialism that’s got some un-/subconscious anti-blackness baked into it the OP hasn’t unpacked and that ... hasn’t been fun to see, folks.

I guess I would encourage ppl to actually read a thread if you see “Show this thread” in a tweet b/c sometimes threads that have that one banging thought in them also contain other not-so-great thoughts and due diligence is sometimes needed.

Also, um. Just like Black Europeans exist, so too do Black Asians. IAJS.
