Getting ready to empty nest. Wow! I must say I kinda weirded out by it, and find myself not wanting it to happen. Princess is leaving the state and Pooh Bear wants to join the Air Force. Most comforting is knowing we did it right, but weren’t perfect. Thread:
You all have heard me tweet about my family. So I knowning where I stand on the issue of family, God, and country is a open book.

If they choose to continue living the values instilled in the family will reflect in normal everyday social interaction we experience. Not that I raised clones, but that by teaching self respect and respecting others, our American society will overcome all trials we face.
I also recognize that not everyone may subscribe to my spiritual ideations. I feel if you are a genuine good person, you will produce good fruit.
My daughter works for a quasi quick food service establishment. The crap she experience every shift is concerning.

She has been call a racist, grown men AND women have asked her (minor) for her number for hook ups, along with having food thrown at her, and the patronizing and condescending remarks, she smiles and continues to provide great customer service.
My oldest works part time for a major entertainment corporation and has a totally different experience and was extremely disappointed when she was laid off at the height of the Pandemic. Turning to fast food, she too experienced much of the same issues as my youngest.
My point is, both dispute the challenges they face fell back on the teachings from our family. Not to brag or boast, all credit is owed to the Ol’Gal. My wife definitely is a beautiful, smart, strong, independent woman.
All qualities I find sexy. More so than body type, clothing, make up, etc..

FTR, I do believe in the traditional family unit, but also believe that traditional family values carries over in to other alternate family dynamics. The spiritual structure IMO doesn’t have to reflected mine, but the principles need to be present.
Thus is the end of my thought for the day, whilst sweating it out in the Sauna.
