Selina Soule, one of the CT girls suing to ban trans women from sport, who happens to now attend the College of Charleston is the Abigail Fisher of sport

Selina: you didn't miss out on anything because of trans girls. Your times just weren't good enough

https://www.oyez.org/cases/2012/11-345
Your suit claims that you missed out on chances of further success and possible scholarships (without providing any evidence that scholarship opportunities went to the trans girl who beat you) because you failed to qualify for NE REGIONALS.
But Selina, that's not how scholarships are decided: it's not based on your placings in a given event. You likely wouldn't even have qualified for nationals anyway.

Scholarships are doled out based on personal bests and your season TIMES, not results.
If you were competing in a powerhouse region (and, come on, CT is not a powerhouse state), then you could be 20th, but still top 30 in the country

You would get a scholarship because of your TIMES even if you never finished in the top 10 in any event or even made it to nationals
You're just not that good, and you're blaming that on innocent black trans girls.

You're the Abigail Fisher of sport.

You don't want to be the Abigail Fisher of sport.

People will NEVER forget that you did this. Do you want this to be your legacy, at 18/19?! Yikes.
And for the pearl-clutchers out there thinking that I'm a professor attacking one of my students: she's not one of my students.

I was on sabbatical in the fall, and was on medical leave this semester. I NEVER taught during her entire time at CofC.
Moreover, last month I tendered my resignation from CofC because I'm sick of SC, the US, and CofC's repeated illegal actions with respect to disability discrimination.

I was not pushed out. I was not fired. This was 110% my choice and I'm VERY very very happy finally.
In fact, I'm leaving formal academia altogether. It's very toxic and has many cult features.

I will continue to write. My next book will be a collection of interviews of trans athletes BY a trans athlete (me). Cis reporters don't know enough to interview us properly.
