and it's opp my ascendant so I have to do better at not just working hard because I can , but working hard on the things that fill up my own soul.

for example. people ask me how I got so good at doing my own natural hair. well my mom was affected by the '08 recession, so she couldn't take me to the shop that often anymore

when I was about to go into high school, I realized I couldn't walk around with 4 week old hair just because we didn't have money for the shop. so I taught myself how to do my hair. and I've been doing it ever since

now, I'm amazing at doing my own hair. but it's only cause I took the time, I wanted to get better, and I was patient. now I think of doing my hair as meditation and a way of expressing myself than a chore and it's better that way.
