ch.3 At this, Yeonjun grabs hold of the branch protectively. “Please don’t, I don’t want to have to wait another 15 hours to respawn.”

Ch.4 The other girl smacks her arm again, this time a bit harder.

"They could... They--" Kai stumbles over his words. "How do we know this isn't some kind of scam and this person isn't actually an occultist or something?" 

Wait no I'm actually scared ;-;

"Y'know, this K-T-H person is putting an awful lot of trust in us. It's more likely that we would kidnap them than they would kidnap us."

What they end up doing is a lot of awkward, uncoordinated swaying in each other's arms. It's not bad, per se, but Kai's hyper-aware of Yeonjun's hand on his waist and that makes his every movement overly stiff.

AH I just love how they've written both kai and yeonjun — I love love love how yeonjun's spontaneity contrasts with kai's want to for routine and consistency ;-; I love the ongoing theme of living in the moment but learning to accept what's to come — my heart goes out to Kai </3

Ch 5. The GPS reads out directions in her crunchy, automated voice, and Yeonjun barks back passive aggressive dismissals at it every time. 

You see it's these small things that make me love the characterisation so much <3

Ch.6 Kai stares at Yeonjun's hand a moment longer. After a near-nonexistent second of deliberation, he reaches for it and interlocks their fingers, letting their hands drop into the space between their seats.
