Thoughtful piece from @LuisAdrianoUK - we all need to do more to get racism out of the game, and of society, and that's a white person's business as much as (more?) than anyone's. But what is the way forward? #BrentfordFC https://twitter.com/LuisAdrianoUK/status/1380319691504246786
One thing we notice in our own field of activism is that a lot of times people are quick to bin things that 'aren't working', be it taking the knee, wearing rainbow laces (if anyone wore them) etc. But are so much less active on the 'what do we do instead'?

With @BrentfordFC and others deciding the knee wasn't doing what it set out to do, in favour of other things, the question rightly comes 'what things?'. That's not yet been answered, but we should all be asking the question.
Our players need our support as fans, they also need the strong and visible and most importantly meaningful support from their employer. And our fans who have been subject to racism deserve the energy, engagement and action from their club also. #BrentfordFC
There is a lot to do. And one way we can all help is by letting the club, league and others know that we expect that work to be done, and if we can help them find the right way to do that, all the better. So if this matters to you, let them know, ask the questions. #BrentfordFC
