So I am not loving the vaccine guilt that happens when people post their vaccine card but I thought the following story might be helpful:
I got the J&J vaccine literally 12 hours ago. Since it's the newest vaccine I wanted to share what I'm experiencing.
To note, I was totally fine until maybe... eh, 1:30 am. That would be 9 hours after getting the vaccine. Since 1:30(ish) am I have experienced:
These are in order of severity:

1. An insane amount of warmth. I am so uncomfortable that I have been tossing and turning the entire time I have been trying to sleep.

2. I am SO Thirsty. I couldn't tell you the last time I woke up so parched, but here I am.
3. I felt my head to see if I was running any sort of fever because of how crazily hot I am, and I feel the exact opposite. I'm very chilled to the touch.

4. My stomach is very upset. I am already planning to send Dan to McDonald's for a sprite first thing in the morning.
5. I am slightly light headed. I was able to come into the bathroom with no issue, but I am currently sitting in the bathroom floor.

6. Arm pain at the site.

When I received my vaccine I was warned about potential side effects but told that it was very unlikely to have any.
However, the kind nurse did inform me that if I were to experience anything that it could range from minor to severe flu-like symptoms. She also told me that I should not consider going to the emergency room unless any symptoms that alarm me...
(I would consider the light-headedness to be alarming if it got any worse), persisted for more than 24 hours after getting the vaccine.
I'll be updating this thread, because I think awareness is so important as people make the tough decision of whether to get the vaccine or not.
