I just saw a thing on the news that said that foreigners are confused about why us New Zealanders and Australians prefer drying our clothes on washing lines instead of driers. Do you guys really use driers everytime? Washing lines are cheaper and better for the clothes, I can't
Comprehend why someone would choose a drier if they live in the right climate for a washing line
They've also got the added bonus of making shade and hiding spots for the cats
Thank you for your replies. I love being able to get opinions from all over the world with the tap of a few buttons. Also I hope I didn't seem aggressive in this thread, sometimes I struggle to get the tone right on twitter
Here's a written version of the thing I saw. I probably should have posted it earlier. It seems that outdoor drying is pretty controversial in America and sometimes even illegal. This should be the end of this thread, back to the cat photos 😾 https://twitter.com/NewshubNZ/status/1380303707141595138?s=19
