He is a thief, clever-fingered, snatching from mirrors, from the reflections on the water, and with his stolen likenesses he lines his infinite halls, and builds his glinting treasure troves.

Be careful you do not see the mirror man at work, for he will snatch away your reflection too, and you will be left hollow as he.
