Space Force was approved in the Senate 82-8 and the House 377-48! A variation of it had been in the works before Trump, he just latched on to it like a toddler but the basic idea was an inevitable military expansion by two pro military parties

Maddow producer and Daily Show tell us Space Force started “as a joke” by Trump in 2018 which is odd because a bipartisan group in Congress were trying to get the idea passed in fall 2017, the only it was “corps” instead of “force” but it was a new separate branch of the military
