$EARS Trade Review (Grade: F-)

Pretty stupid trade here. Completely impulsive and feeling major FOMO.

This one hurt haha, however there is a valuable lesson here I need to keep myself aware of. I had a great day going at this point then I saw a stock running on my scanner, pulled up the chart, and took it short just because it was up so much. No other reason.

Completely impulsive thinking I know more than the market. And the market made me pay.

After I posted my PnL, I let my guard down, I completely forgot what and how I should be trading in the matter of a few seconds and just clicked the button to short.

And that is what successful day trading is all about, constantly staying on yourself in your head, reminding yourself of your negative tendencies, staying hyper aware of your emotions and talking to yourself in your head on what you need to be doing.
