SO tempted to post this on NextDoor with the caption, “FOUND DOG. No tags. Tried to get close but it ran off.”
There'd be about fifty comments telling me, "OHMIGOD, it's a coyote, don't touch it," and another fifty telling me I should take it to the vet for a microchip scan, and a few complaining about people who let their dogs run loose.
A few more would write paragraphs telling me, "Take it to Anthem Pet rescue and make sure you post it on Facebook and did you give it food and water?"
Then the locals would all get in major fights over it, and it would quickly turn political. Soon, there would be name-calling, tearing of shirts, and wailing.
Eventually some nice guy will write a post saying, "Can't we just be nice to each other? We're neighbors! Quit criticizing and complaining!" and then someone else will say, "Did anyone else see how ironic it is that ___ just criticized and complained in his post?" 😂
