How Jimin became the name that comes to everyone's mind when mentioning K-pop.
There is no way to know exactly how it started, I myself have known his for years even though I joined the army only in 2020.
But, let's see facts about Face of K-pop known even to the general public.

In 2014, when BTS was still facing a lot of things in their career, but with the help of armys of course, things changed.
Anyway, BTS paved and gave name to K-pop in the world, and Jimin? He was already giving his face right there at the beginning.

We can see that in 2014 Jimin’s name was already seen trending. His name seen like this so early just proves that there is reason for even the locals to know that K-pop and Jimin are related.
In > 2015 <Jimin was already an example when a local was going to talk about k-pop.

In 2016, Jimin joined Forbes' Top Trending Artists, placing second, above well awarded and polular artists.
Already proving its power appearing in important rankings for even more important vehicles.

It is worth remembering that in 2016 BTS burst a lot with Blood Sweat and Tears in Korea, a song with a melody created by Jimin, where his opening has become so iconic that even today Korean journalists call him “Master of the opening” as recently proved on video.

In 2017 Jimin was the subject of an article on Billboard.

Billboard also quotes, that Jimin is the most mentioned K-pop act in Tumblr posts at the beginning of 2017.

In 2018 The Guardian Listed the top 30 boyband members, Jimin came in at 17, the only K-idol besides GD to be mentioned.

We can't go through 2018 without mentioning the iconic fancam that broke twitter, I remember seeing it and going straight. What was wrong with me?

In 2018 Jimin was the 8th most mentioned musician in the USA, there was even an error that Twitter itself had to rectify and announce, that was only in the USA.

It is worth remembering that 2017/2018 BTS was already bursting worldwide and appearing on programs in the US.
Another thing to attribute to the general public, an example was Jimmy Fallon showing affection for his almost twin name.

Remember in early 2019, BTS was on SNL, a live tv show that air every Saturday since 1975, Jimmy Fallon posted a photo with Chimmy that ended up in the trends.

Speaking of SNL, Jimin broke social midia with many locals asking about him.
Midia also took advantage of the moment to praise him.
Jimin was trending on many countries.
He also was proving his title of "recruiting fairy" with locations, media and trends in your favor.

Twitter posts that they are asking for help from the ARMYs to find out more about the pink haired boy, after so many tweets about JIMIN.

Well, some iconic local tweets are a must for the Face of K-pop.

In 2019, Jimin was the only soloist, to rank in the top5 of Korean acts most cited on twitter.
He was also chosen together with BAND PD and Namjoon, as the most powerful people in the entertainment industry.

Jimin being mentioned twice on the impact of Korean culture in the USA.
Jimin was highly (still is) wanted to participate in Masked Singer USA.

Nicole Scherzinger saying that if she could invite a Korean artist to participate in the Masked Singer in the USA, it would be Jimin.

Minister of culture says “That’s Jimin everybody should know his name”

In 2018 Khalid posted a ss playing Jimin's solo Serendipity. He later attended to BTS concert at Rose Bowl and posted some IG stories when Jimin was performing.
Lizzo says Jimin is her favorite member.

In 2019 Lizzo had already asked the audience: “Can you pretend that I'm Jimin from BTS for a moment?”

Korean artist Lee K., has Jimin as muse.
He has painted it several times, his instagram has a highlight called “Muse”, his works have already been exhibited in Europe, including the last photo, a Frenchman purchasing his painting in Paris

Jimin went viral among gremistas fans of a soccer team in Brazil. This was reported even by the Korean media.
James Rodriguez from Bayern is a fan of Jimin and wishes him happy birthday.

In 2019 on his birthday, Jimin occupied 20 places in the world trends.
