My Target trip - a thread

Went to the ole Target to get a couple of items. Of course, had to check the card aisle. Bare bones. I did grab the last 2 Donruss baseball Hangers.
Then spent about 20 minutes in the toy section with my 6 year old as she couldn’t decide what $5 toy she wanted. She wanted plenty of $50 toys, but I digress. I watched 4 different people during this time that was pretty interesting.
First guy almost ran my daughter over because he was literally RUNNING in the toy aisle. He stopped when he rounded the corner and saw us and quickly apologized. Passed us, started running again.
2nd guy shows up with an empty cart. Target has been 3 per person for weeks. He was not “shopping” because he went back to the front & left. Spent a good 10 minutes looking behind every box and in every corner of the card aisle for some loose scraps. Searched a couple S1 packs.
Third guy rolls up. Phone in hand and picked through all the Magic and Pokémon, searched the phone, and put the packs back. I am only assuming but I’m guessing checking eBay prices. He finds nothing and leaves.
I’m perusing the toys and the card aisle is now out of sight. But Guy #1 is back. Walking back and forth slowly. Seems to be pretending to shop but never picks anything up and constantly looks at the card aisle. He then leaves.
4th guy walks by me as I’m now near the bikes. He sees the 2 Donruss hangers in my hand and points, talking to himself. He picks to the pace. I don’t see his arrival at the card aisle but he is soon walking back by me to head out.
Finally, daughter wants to go to the $1 area as the $5 toys are not intriguing. Our card section is at the back of the store - $1 area is at the front door. As I’m standing there, the first guy is back for a 3rd time. Walks in the front door, grabs a buggy and heads to the back.
As I head to the self checkout, he comes back, puts the buggy back - empty - and leaves. Moral of the story: even if your Target is dry, it can be quite entertaining to watch for a bit. Makes me wonder just how much these guys constantly walk around that store in one day.
