yesterday someone asked for my pronouns and i said ‘they/them, i guess i’m fine with any, like she is fun and he is sometimes okay, but i definitely prefer they’. she then went on to just use he/him for me https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😑" title="Ausdrucksloses Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Ausdrucksloses Gesicht">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙃" title="Auf den Kopf gestelltes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Auf den Kopf gestelltes Gesicht">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="☹️" title="Stirnrunzelndes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Stirnrunzelndes Gesicht">
it’s funny cos like i like they/them abt 95% of the time, and like it feels rlly good to be called she on occasion, but i actually find it okay if one of my best friends or queer people i respect refer to me as he/him? but if a stranger says he/him i rlly dislike it??? idk
the reason why i said im fine w any is cos i don’t want cis people over apologising if they misgender me https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😭" title="Laut schreiendes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Laut schreiendes Gesicht"> and there ARE moments when she or he are fitting! but if i say ‘any’ i don’t mean call me he 24/7 u ^gly close minded beach
