Looking for my opinion? 🧐

Assuming every "girl" who got hired in the "positions you wanted" was incompetent or less qualified than you is... problematic. Men who got jobs you wanted were fair though?

You don't have to "draw a line" between technical experience and inclusion.
I'm not trying to shame him. I know this is a popular opinion and every woman I know has gotten some variant of, "oh it must have been easy to get a job in tech as a woman".

Just because companies actively "want to hire women" doesn't mean you're hired without technical skills.
Every bad faith "debater" on this topic likes to bring up that they once had a coworker who was a woman who wasn't good at her job as "proof". As if we've all never worked with ANY men who aren't great at their jobs. đŸ€š
Anyway it's cool that I am simultaneously both an authority on hiring that he wants an opinion from (I'm not) but also that I probably don't deserve my job?
