Not that anyone needed to be told this, and god there& #39;s no way I& #39;m reading more than select passages of this thing, but Michael Owen& #39;s memoirs are just astonishingly petty. https://twitter.com/GraceOnFootball/status/1379671074300956682">https://twitter.com/GraceOnFo...
Ok Rooney is one thing but come on you& #39;re still mad about Darius Vassell?!
it& #39;s a tough life
Could not recommend the book & #39;Reboot& #39; by Michael Owen more highly. It& #39;s a laugh a minute.
He spends a full six pages describing this goal he scored to win the Manchester Derby.

I didn& #39;t screenshot them but my god he is so bitter towards Newcastle fans in this book. The stuff that made the newspaper headlines doesn& #39;t fully capture how Not Owned he is.
Based on the tone of this book, I think there& #39;s a decent chance he& #39;ll read this thread out of spite.
Michael, if you& #39;re reading, you were my favourite player as a kid and made me realise how upsetting football can be when you left.

Anyway read @MoeSquare& #39;s take on how he was once a very good footballer before he became a very petty man. https://moesquare.medium.com/golden-boys-of-yesteryear-michael-owen-1daf95de381">https://moesquare.medium.com/golden-bo...
Upon reflection, I think what stands out is that he acts as though he was doing a great favour to Liverpool fans by scoring all those goals, and deserves love forever for it.
Rather than doing his job, which he was paid for, and love of the fans isn& #39;t payment.
