we were in a groupchat with chev & we were pretty much all on good terms. after a while, many of us started noticing chev acting weird and almost always put themselves on a pedestal; claiming this position of power +
in the gc bc he was the one who initially made it. at first, he would kick anyone who made him uncomfortable (which is valid) but it eventually got to a point where he would simply kick anyone who disagreed with him.
since its happened once before, we felt like we had to walk on eggshells around chev and sugarcoat everything in order to avoid being kicked. which in itself sounds extremely toxic and manipulative.
chev made a tweet on main, sent it to the gc and began discourse over it then threatened a panic attack. chev believed the discourse was a personal attack and told everyone to refrain from talking about it from that point forward or we would be kicked.
after, someone stuck up for themselves and left. chev followed up with this, which basically sugarcoated the entire situation and demonized the person who had initially left the chat:
"___ didnt like that and left because i put my foot down to stop myself from having a panic attack" kinda implying it was that persons fault for feeling uncomfortable and blaming it on their trauma for pity points.
disclaimer: we are not upset about chev being a proshipper, we were more upset about the fact that we couldn& #39;t have differing opinions without being kicked out or shut down.
this is what that person said after they voluntarily left the gc & eventually chev left as well, to avoid confrontation and ownership

they preach about not harassing people but send people to harass for them. these were sent to a persons cc after tweeting about being in a bad mood about their sister being discharged from the hospital. chev went private soon after these messages were sent.
we& #39;re assuming its chev or linked to him somehow because they have sent a message similar to this before. keep in mind they exploited a personal insecurity that was uncalled for
chev has used a slur they cannot reclaim, after being very open about their racial identity and being half salvadorian.
after informing them that someone who is fully mexican was hurt by what he said, he attempted to gain more pity points by saying he dissociated and relapsed/proceeded to tweet that they are from more than one country.
how are you white passing but have never experienced white privilege ?
basically, we just want an apology from chev himself. for being manipulated and lied to. we also want to spread the things he& #39;s done so that others won& #39;t have to go through the same thing; considering he has a big following, that& #39;s all.
also, this isn’t 100% everything. there’s still more to the story, these are just our biggest problems and concerns. thanks for reading.
