Lake Mas'ade or lake ram

If you are looking for the best view in Golan. Drive on Road 98 and enter Mevo Hama. Drive straight after passing through the gate and continue straight at the first roundabout. Take the next right onto a dirt road and follow the trail Ein Shoko
There are 4 Druze towns in Golan Majdal Shams, Mas'ade, Buq'ata, and Ein Qiniyye—in which 23,000 Druze live.Majdal Shams is the largest one
There is also small museum in Katzrin “Museum of Antiquities in the Golan”. The museum features artifacts from all historical periods. The museum is closed now because corona so don’t know when it will open again
If you have seen the 2004s The Syrian Bride that revolves around this closed border and the Shouting Hill . Shouting hill is just outside Majdal Shams
What and where to eat! Green apple in Majdal Shams great Middleterranean food,not so much Druze food but this is one of the most popular restaurant in Majdal shams
If you want local Druze food then Al-Yasmin restaurant in Majdal shams is the place ,but always call before to make sure they are open
If you eat kosher then always ask. Just because the menu is in Hebrew don’t mean the food is kosher..
Reminder if you planing to visit golan. All Israelis know the iron rule: never stray off the main roads in the Golan Heights, and never ever cross cattle fences. The cows aren't dangerous, but the mines are, And don’t pick up anything that you did not drop!
