Ah, I see they're still playing the narrative that everything happened because he's Christian & conservative.

Scripture repeatedly says God chooses to use imperfect people. But at bare minimum, someone repeatedly cheating on someone every week for 12 years shouldn't be admired.
On the church's Facebook group where this was posted, the bottom comment was actually deleted and is no longer there, and comments on the post have been turned off, so I see they're going the route of covering their eyes and ears and pretending the real problem isn't there.
IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM JUST A FEW MINUTES AGO:

The church has cancelled the event and is having a normal Sunday service instead.
So, hey, the wild story continues. The pastor has REinvited him.

Additionally, he has never met Vic before.
Since he was reinvited, I want to mention that I don't think the church or the pastor deserve anything bad, and I would disagree with those who feel they do. I believe they got conned and are making a huge mistake. It is pitiable and sad that a man can lie to a pastor like this.
