Genuinely chuffed with myself being able to explain what inequalities are and what it means for the Trust, and Team and how Anchor Trusts are related to staff new to most of this.
Feedback was that I made it feel 'wholesome, connected in a way I hadn't felt working at work. I feel like I'm helping towards things that are important in our community. I feel seen, genuinely seen'. Was lovely to hear and glad that I'm around people that get it.
People don't always understand acronyms and often jargon language but they get 'unfairness', people see it in their own lives every day. Ask them if they want to make their corner of the world a fair place and you'll get the buy-in.
