Hello world, to the demand of absolutely nobody, this is a thread of my favourite moments and performances from the Eurovision 2021 season!
Beginning with one of the best days to be in the Eurofandom. When we first heard Adrenalina, we thought it was great, then hearing Flo Rida for San Marino in the teaser! Seeing him + Senhit in the music video together was when we collectively lost our minds! Incredible 🇸🇲
Hearing El Diablo for the first time via Twitter was a moment. I wasn't ready for Cyprus to give us another banger and them being my winner again 😅 El Diablo is still my favourite song from the contest this year! I can't wait to see the live version 🇨🇾
Even though this song wasn't ahem popular (sorry I'll see myself out) with the fandom, I thought Every Minute was amazing! The staging was one of the coolest I've seen. It was modern, very catchy, and I think Eric would've done really well at Eurovision!🇸🇪
Lost In A Dance was one of my favourite songs from NF Season, gutted they missed out in the Eesti Laul Final, hopefully they come back next year!🇪🇪
Raylee's Hero was another song I loved and her performance as well as the staging really elevated the song! I thought she was a potential contender to win the whole of MGP! 🇳🇴
When Nina was a mood at Dora
Speaking of Dora, I remember when Share the Love single handedly created world peace with their well... memorable performance that night and let's not forget that iconic swing entrance which I couldn't stop laughing at 🇭🇷
Era Rusi's performance of Zjarri I'm still lives in my mind rent free 🇦🇱
Another moment I remember in Fik was when the host arrived on a horse in the semi finals. I don't have that video, so have this one; this is what I think would have been the horse's reaction after being told that they weren't needed in the final
This iconic introduction
I had honestly no idea what was happening but this Melfest interval act was so chaotic but hilarious! I hope the angel will be a part of Tix's staging in May 😌
And who can forget when Eva and Ewa won Melfest 😌🇸🇪
Elodie's interval act at Sanremo
deserved a grammy award
It was my first time watching Sanremo this year and it was really good, I hope when Italy wins Eurovision that Amadeus and Fiorello will host it and perform 🇮🇹
When the UK entry was finally revealed, it was great to finally hear a song which is upbeat and current to the popular music scene. Embers is brilliant, and hearing it for the first time on the radio was a moment! Hopefully James will do well in May! 🇬🇧
I know I could have picked a lot more moments and performances from this season and I would have done, but this thread is already really long as it is 😅 Thank you all for reading, sorry if this clogged up your tl and don't forget to
