This house in Primrose Hill is my win-the-lottery fantasy. There’s a cat sleeping in the floor length window. And a shield attached to protect the ample library from direct sun. I love doorknobs in the middle of doors. Friendly post-70’s Brutalism of dreams:

These photos really don’t do it justice but it’s a private residence and I didn’t want to be creepy. Maybe someday I’ll write them a physical letter asking for a tour on beautiful paper and slip it in their letterbox.

If you casually know who the architect is, I’m dying to know. It was clearly custom designed for this site and these owners and their needs.

I’d paint the door a warm, bright orange though.

Also note their cool custom oversized vertical letter and post slot in the door! Clearly they thought about design in what appears to be a later addition.
