Before y'all reply saying that real people can't queerbait, YES THEY CAN! I know they're not fictional characters in a Netflix show but they can queerbait by trying to please a lgbt+ audience and that's exactly what Dream and George is doing.
I'm watching Dream since february 2020 and he used to easily say that he's straight, bc DNF wasn't that popular then. After the shipping stuff blew up suddenly Dream stopped saying he's straight.
This video is from late february. Dream easily says that he's straight when the question is asked. He didn't even think twice and answered right away. But then, DNF started to blow up, people started to ship them more.
But in june Dream was alone in his merch discord, he was in the vc for a long time and started to talk about bunch of stuff. Like how he doesn't mind the shipping etc. Bc shipping got very popular at that time and fandom wasn't really happy about it, since they're real people(+)
And suddenly the topic came to the ''Dream is a Youtuber'' copypasta. That copypasta was from a fic and saying Dream is a youtuber=bisexual etc. He started talking about sexuality and gave a very vague speech which created a lot confusion.
And after that the infamous ''DNF anon'' thread came up. Accusing Dream of queerbaiting. After that thread blew up he made some tweet which also created more confusion and many people misinterpreted these tweets and thought his sexuality is ambiguous or he is unlabaled.
HE'S STRAIGHT THO!! With those tweets many people started to believe that he's lgbt+. Soon, another cc started to accuse Dream and George of queerbaiting and Dream went on a stream to talk about it live.
This clip is recent and again it's so VAGUE. Some people are saying that he literally said he's straight there and some saying he was just describing a hypothetical situation. So some still think he's lgbt+
So @dreamwastaken keep making money of off by your ''ambiguous'' sexuality and keep using the lgbt+ folks
