So a few weeks ago in the wake of the Sarah Everard tragedy, I reported a guy to his HR department for sending me absolutely heinous messages. He was an exec director of a multinational corp. Clearly had done this kind of thing before... he was way too cocky with it.
He made out like he was a potential customer but every time I tried to talk about work, he& #39;d make some crass sexual remark. e.g. "I& #39;d love to talk to you about Cyber Essentials while I& #39;m f*cking you up the arse, maybe I could whisper it in your ear, how does that sound, darling?"
I had literally over a 100 messages like this... all voice notes so it was definitely him... i.e. he wasn& #39;t the victim of a phone hack.
Well today my faith in HR processes has been restored. I received an e-mail saying..

"Following an internal investigation into the matters you raised with the Group, <NAME> has left the business and is no longer an employee, nor an executive director."
Thank you to everyone that said it was the right thing to do and supported me in making this decision. I hope this helps other women to speak up too. So glad it was taken seriously!
