Writing Goals For My First Episode of Gravity Falls:

I was an infant. We didn't reach these goals on that ep- but that's how you learn- try, fall short, try again, etc.

We got closer later- even though we were always worried we were falling short. Which oddly helped us! (1/3)

We were so paranoid the show was bad- we were always testing the show by reading or showing it to eachother, the crew, and anyone who would listen.

We were BEGGING for criticism, because we knew it would reveal problems that we could then solve and make the show better! (2/3)

I learned if you're a writer- don't hide your work- let it breathe!

Show it to people, find out what's working and what's not!

It's the quickest way you'll get better!
