Some ppl here have the audacity to blame only Sencer for not telling Meliksah the truth. Some of you say he had a lot of opportunities to reveal his true identity to his father but he didn't do it.

Even if he wanted he knew he couldn’t do that – for sake of the state and his father’s life. And if you can’t see it, it only shows you don’t understand this story nor Sencer’s/Meliksah’s characters.
Tbh everyone in this story is „state’s hostage” – their all actions are +
+focused on the security of the sultanate, their private life and emotions are irrelevant. Everyone in this story sacrificed something to the state interest, knowing they will have to pay for their actions in future.
Decision of abandoning newly born son was very hard for Meliksah, he had the moments of hesitation but the the heritage in him won. He couldn't throw away the legacy left by his father. He did what was right in his opinion.
Sencer all his life knew what was the reason that his father abandoned him, he accepted it; since his childhood he served and protected the state and the sultanate, not asking anything in return. Several times he admitted very clearly neither he nor his mother wanted +
+ power or any honors. He accepted his destiny, all he wanted was to serve his father, even from a distance. And yet some of you wanted him to destroy all this what his father was fighting for, with his help, in a blink by saying "Hey btw I am your son, nice to meet you.”
Really? This secret never belonged to him only, + he couldn’t talk about it freely here and there, even with Turna; it always belonged to state interest. Meliksah never said a single word about it – so why should he?
Hace knew the most important thing was to secure the state not only from outside but also from inside - we already saw the coup attempt to dethrone Meliksah because of the "failure" of his ruling.
Imagine what war would break out if Sencer's true identity was found out right after his birth while his mother's espionage accusations would have remained unresolved. Hace and Basulu knew Meliksah will never leave her and their son, +
+ they knew he would choose them over the sultanate; that's why they made this particular decision. Would any of you be ready for such a sacrifice? I doubt it.
We still know nothing of accusing Basulu of being a spy– +
+ hope we'll get the Basulu's exoneration soon since the secret has been revealed...and yes, again the state demands it for sake of Meliksah, his rule and the whole dynasty.
