Utterly irresponsible

An *anthropologist* spreading vaccine hysteria (hate the word but she’s using the uterus to spread vaccine fear) 😱😡

NOT AT ALL controlling for
prior COVID
b4 vaccine

Perimenopausal included?!?

This is why you need GOOD science
#MedTwitter
#COVID19
Some women trying to “lead” on #womenshealth only serve to harm

No, the way to win in a man’s world is NOT to be as nonsensical as Trump on science

You only harm WOMEN when you fear monger with ZERO understanding of female biology

This is akin to “bleach treatment” science
They literally included perimenopause (pregnancy and lactation) which is KNOWN to have fluctuating hormones and distressing symptoms.

There IS *zero* biological understanding yet claiming to study “immune” response.

OMG.
Women are women’s worst enemies, I am convinced.
This is what perimenopause is

They literally are going to try to do an online SURVEY including THIS condition to “study” effect of one vaccine dose on... periods?

I can’t even
I am happy to call Dr. Jill Biden doctor but some of you all with PhDs in non-clinical fields are 🤯
Responsible research has a conceptual model

Claiming cause/effect by biological mechanisms needs a biological premise

How does anyone claim to evaluate cause/effect or before/after for menses in women:
perimenopausal
pregnant
lactating
?

Menses DO change then

Nonsensical
I see the above a lot in lazy approaches common in b-school students, opposite to good data collection. Responsible data collection does not utilize one's own biased view to craft leading questions to force answers into fields that validate what you already believe without data..
surveys pop up every 30 seconds in b-school and most are "garbage in, garbage out"

..instead if one is still in a hypothesis-generating stage you understand context, explore drivers, be open to hear the opposite of what one believes.

Surveys based on a hunch are...trash.
Despite thinking that #STEM would be a field of #data, #logic #standards, I've learned (more online) I offend some w/ use terms like #quality #verify #accuracy #ethics or #accountability. Those with credentials should have a professional sense of responsibility to that on own
Most lay people understand teen, pregnant, lactating, perimenopausal, or menopausal woman each group represents a distinct biologic state by definition, worthy of not being thrown into one big bin together

Women deserve high-quality #data, not a continuation of medical #sexism
I'm more interested in the issue of #data #quality than the who in this case, however, from a cursory look at those most aggressively defending poor data quality about women, generated by online survey, am not seeing much melanin, or even, estrogen

But good data trump identity
