Great question about cross-/inter-disciplinary messaging re: airborne (versus droplet) transmission/risk. Engineers talking about it, physicians aren't. @vinguptaMD: We need innovations for better masking. Ventilation another area to look at #NNLMinfodemic21
I've seen where those discussions are happening but not necessarily overlapping with public health / healthcare messaging. That Venn diagram does not overlap near enough IMO. #NNLMinfodemic21
Heads up➡️"NOTE: Paper Presentations will note be recorded."

Well. That's going to shift how and what I watch. I hope the panels are, because I can't do both. Guess I'll focus on papers - definitely want to catch @technobro70's later. #NNLMinfodemic21
I don't think I'm alone in having a certain expectation of asynchronous, "watch recordings later" approach with virtual conferences, and not having the papers recorded definitely alters how and how much I'm going to consume #NNLMinfodemic21
Watching Deb Baker talk about knowledge brokering - scanning for users, proactively and synthesizing, making it applicable by context - versus reference librarianship. "knowledge brokering" is exactly what I shifted to with covid pandemic #NNLMinfodemic21
Personal case in point: spent my morning going through my alerts and lit searches to gather up things for my covid report to providers. It can be very labor intensive. #NNLMinfodemic21
Deb Baker: if she had do it over, she would developed / built in taxonomy. OMG YES. One of my biggest regrets with covid reports 1 year later is not doing that or searchable tags. I haven't been able to get that started even moving forward because so hard. #NNLMinfodemic21
I've got to run and do other work things, so will have to pick this thread up later. I can only multitask so much even when it's dead in the library.
