This can& #39;t be called a watch thread, it& #39;s just me quoting and saying things I liked about the episode. I still feel like crying, and I haven& #39;t been through what Hailey has but Tracy made me feel so many things. So, some random thoughts from me on 8x11:
-I& #39;m 100% here for soft Jay that likes to cuddle and make his girlfriend coffee in the morning. Whoever says that they want the Jay from seasons back doesn& #39;t know what they& #39;re talking about. He has never been this happy, relaxed, understanding and open about his feelingsbefore.
-They way they both said good morning and were with full smiles, please, they& #39;re so happy to be together

-"I love all that. I love *you*" te way Jay said it, with so much ease. He FEELS it, that& #39;s why he just said it without effort. He has loved her for a long time, it& #39;s so important that he was the first to say it because it shows how much he& #39;s grown in the emotions department.
That scene with Hailey looking at herself in the mirror.She knows what she feels,she loves Jay.But the weight the words have on her because growing up they had other meaning, and hearing them again from the person she loves. It IS realistic and in character that she freaked out.
-Hailey left but she let Jay stay at her apartment. Her space. If she wanted to shut him out completely, cut him out of her life, she could have done it. But she doesn& #39;t want to. She& #39;s never wanted to completely push him away, even when she was scared.
-Jay& #39;s face after she leaves says so much. He& #39;s hurt, because he knows she& #39;s lying and avoiding him. And well, he just confessed his love for her. But you can also see he feels something& #39;s wrong. That she didn& #39;t do it because she doesn& #39;t feel it.
-"Yeah but you learn how to be that way. To shut people out, be invisible. You learn it."

Did you guys notice that Hailey was the one driving this whole episode?
-Hailey telling the little girl the story of how she herself had a friend like her that let her in so she could escape her house? It wrecked me.

She was right to call Voight out.His way of leading the team has brought everyone over the edge at least once bc he& #39;s the leader that influences them in a way.I can& #39;t believe they& #39;re trying to make him look reformed.

-The way Adam pats Hailey gently on the back because he knows, a bit, of why she& #39;s reacting that way to the case.
-I LOVED the Hailey and Kim scene. Kim doesn& #39;t know the whole story, but she understood it affected Hailey and quietly showed her support.

They& #39;ll follow each other anywhere. They work because their trust, respect and understanding of the other goes beyond any situation.

Those were the words Hailey needed to hear. To know he was staying, that she was worth staying. That they didn& #39;t need to know how to be together right away. That they& #39;ll figure it out together. It& #39;s why they work so well as a team.
The best thing of this episode was Tracy& #39;s brilliant acting. When she was happy, when she was angry, sad, worried. She showed so well all those sides of Hailey.
