Brett looked so sad that she didn’t know about Casey’s headaches. It was like she knew that if they weren’t in a weird place, she maybe wouldn’t be in the dark about it. You can tell she's not only worried, but misses their friendship.

But her eagerness to know what was going on and Casey’s dear in headlights look when she spoke… he knew he was officially busted (and then proceeded into a bad cover up job) and it was pretty clear she wouldn’t be able to let this go.

And this man and his hands...

LOOK at this power couple go. I love seeing them work together.

My ultimate dream is Kidd, Severide, Casey and Brett teaming up for a case. Imagine the power that quartet would have.

They looked cute here. Brett is rocking that purple jumper and Casey with his puppy dog eyes.

BUT those puppy dog eyes are not getting you out of this Matthew. Sylvie cares too deeply about you to let this go.

I love her for it. I think that's ultimately why he loves her too.

She took a softer approach in his quarters, but thank goodness she took the harder approach in the lounge.

It was exactly what Matt needed.

SHE was exactly what Matt needed.

If anyone was going to get him to come around, it was her.

Casey was SO upset here. Like 903 'I just lost Sylvie' upset.

He loves his job, so to even think about the possibility that he may no longer have it must feel like he's losing a huge part of himself.

He's probably wondering why he has to keep losing the things he loves most.

Christie said that Caseys tend to keep secrets, and Matt has been known to bottle things, so the fact that he told Sylvie about his fear is huge.

Not Boden or Severide - Sylvie.

It shows how deeply he trusts her and how much he values her place in his life.

The softness of her offer and the shock on his face was everything.

He’s surprised that she would do this for him and that he can have that level of support from someone he cares so deeply about.

It must mean so much to him - especially because he did it alone the first time.

The parallels that can be drawn here...

He was always there for her in a crisis...

He deserves to have someone be a rock in his life as much as Sylvie does. He deserves his "it's always been you" moment.

They're both so open to helping, and so open to receiving help. There’s such a great balance and Matt is finally getting as much as he gives in his relationships.

They prioritise each other, they're so generous, and it's beautiful to see because it's all they've ever wanted.

And yeah this look will live rent free in my mind for the foreseeable future.

I can’t wait to see how Sylvie continues to support Matt through this. I just know it will be full of tender, generous, encouraging love
