To celebrate 2500 community members

Here's 5 tips for success on Twitter.

<THREAD>
I don't have the largest community but I have learned a lot.

There's 5 things that will get you to success on Twitter.

• Persistence
• People
• Cache of Content
• Goals
• Willingness to change

Let's dive deeper into each one.
1. Have Persistence

When you're first getting started things take time.

There's many ups and downs.

Showing up every day and giving it your best shot is most important.
2. Surround yourself with great people.

When you're not motivated or feeling like you're not good enough.

The people around you are who you'll lean on.

Make sure those around you hold you accountable and lift you up.
3. Store up content

Days lacking motivation or ideas happen often.

Make sure you are prepped for these days with plenty of notes and already created content.

This will help you push through bad days and stay consistent.
4. Set goals and stick to them

Without goals you won't be able to identify success.

Set goals early and often.

Celebrate each milestone.
5. Be willing to pivot

When you first start you'll be going in one direction.

Your community will let you know what they want from you.

Keep your eyes and ears open to hear them.

And a willingness to follow their lead.

You're here for them. Not the other way around.
Follow the guidelines set in this thread and you can't fail.

Show up every day and be open to learn.

You will kill it here when you do.
